Conversion to natural gas takes more than an adapter, usually requiring a replacement of the whole manifold and Webber won't sell you the part without the serial number for one originally built as a natural gas grill.

I went through this with my Genesis grill and had to buy one on eBay.
Someone that wants a grill that lasts more than a couple seasons in a harsh climate.

Or someone that wants an awesome steak cooked on a heavy cast iron grate.

Yes. So many comments in this thread talking about the Weber of yesteryear, not this garbage. The new Webers rust out like the rest of the grills produced now. Better off with a used Weber made 25 years ago. These won't last 10 years.
That's mostly true. The thing with Webers is the firebox is cast aluminum and the lids are very well made but the frames, support structure and cabinets are cheap sheet metal like every other grill out there and bound to fail in short order. Salt air will eat the frames of thesegrills in <3 years. Fact

My Genesis II is on year 10. I bragged how it still looked brand new and how glad I purchased it

. But then all of a sudden the bottom sheet metal that is basically the structure, disintegrated in one season. It's going to collapse any day now. To replace Weber wants $160 for just a peice of sheetmetal. Not happy.

Is it out of warranty?

I ordered it and then cancelled. Seems like there are plenty of models from Napoleon which are on par or better feature wise and as reputable in quality. I've had good experience with BroilKing in the past and a lot of Webers seem overrated and overhyped. Just because there are lack of other decent mid range options in US doesn't make this automatically a great option. Most of quality praise come from people who purchased Webers 20 years ago.

Looks like this is the black version with free assembly for the same price at lowe's. Amazon doesn't seem to have free assembly for me so this may be a better option.

When you check out, FREE assembly option is available

They also have the Spirit II E310 for $519 including free install. It's a slightly lesser build (no doors on the bottom cart and only 1 side with wheels). https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077JTC...item_image

Despite not having the cabinet, I prefer this version because the burners are more powerful and the grease drain is in the middle versus the side of the other spirit. Less chance of grease fires with the Spirit II system versus the spirit on this original deal. The spirit II does not offer a side burner so this style is nicer if you need a side burner.

ok guys, while this is a great deal, unless you are physically challenged, get the Costco deal , the Spirit EX-315 and you will appreciate the additional Electronics and App that comes with it. Digital thermometer is mounted on the right side instead on the cover, along with the inside temp display of the meat probe. Also the main grill temp probe is mounted just above the grates , not at the ceiling of the grill cover for accurate temperature , plus you will get the meat temperature probe(along with the free App) to monitor the inside temperature of the meat you are cooking. That is an awesome feature and the icing is that you can set alerts for the grill temperature and also for the probe, so you can go get your food when it is ready. no guess game. I bought it from Costco for $499 + tax and Loving it!

Why I said if you are not physically challenged - This grill is heavy! Costco will help you load it into your SUV, but you are on your own to unload it at home(I tired to bribe the guys at Costco with beer, but they wouldn't bite it :-) ), I did this all by myself, but it's a two person job. Instead of taking the box down, I opened the box in the SUV itself and took each pieces out individually, so it's not that heavy. There is one piece pretty heavy that is the top of the grill itself with the cover. There are stuff side it which you can take out to lower the weight, so you can carry the main top of the grill easily by yourself. Also reserve 3 hours to assemble it first time. If I do it again, I can probably assemble it in less than an hour.

Hope this helps someone to get the Digital version with the App to enjoy a decade at the cost of a little trouble for the day you are buying it.

here is the deal. That $549 is the online price, at the warehouse it is $499

For those who bought the grill, get this OEM grill cover for half the price

I was looking for a Cover for my grill and it was 89.49 everywhere, but I found this awesome deal at Amazon. Get it before it's gone

I'm seeing this as an online only deal when following the link to Costco in that post. Has anyone grabbed this recently in store?

I picked it up from the store for $499.99 few days ago. Already started grilling 😄

Call your local Costco. They will tell you if they have it in stock

Anyone has issue with the back side panel being 1/2 the size it is supposed to be?. Installation manual shows that there should be only one piece. Mine cam with one but it only covers 1/3 of the backside instead of all the way to the 2 screw holes. Anyone has same problem?

OMG! This must be new to this model grill as it's the same for me. I submitted a part replacement via Weber after I registered it, but I guess that's how it is.
