Edit: lightning deal over, but current price is still $4 less than last FP

Saw this on frontpage in January for $60, so $51 is pretty slick (7% currently claimed on lightning deal).
I'm waiting on the version with BT and treble/bass controls, but thought I'd share this at least.

See previous post below for discussion on its pros/cons:

This is a good amp at a really good price right now.

You need to upgrade the power brick to get the full power.

Don't know why people buying these crap than upgrading it to make it better which is all BS. Just buy Sony 2 channel receiver when it goes on sale is a better deal. I've knowingly it already crap before buying it, the fact is that many YouTube Audiophile Star highly recommended it so inquire mind want to know.

I bought their top amp which had 2 Wu meters in the front supposingly 300x2 with build-in PS $180. When measuring power output, sure peak and not RMS watts does hit 265W NOT 300 all distortion. That's total power NOT per channel. The sound already getting distorted at around 50W, and distortion will damage your tweeter in long run.

Good luck fools!
Form factor and use case. Everyone and their grandma knows how to search craigslist for old home theater or stereo receivers, but many don't want the size, heat, volume of a class a/b so they buy this.

I retired an old sony receiver and replaced it with a desktop class D (Not this one, a SMSL). Not all class Ds are created the same so I had to go through a handful to find one with the correct sound signature. Reviews say it distorts at max volume, I don't care, I haven't moved my dial past 25% and don't intend to

What heat if you are not going to crank the volume past 25%? If you insist class D sound that's fine. Whatevr float your boat fools
Put your hand over your receiver. Guaranteed to be warm just by being on.

I was a class D hater, but now I think they are coming along nicely. Not necessarily this amp in particular (haven't tried it) but the more expensive ones sound good enough if you're not not doing pro work.

I bought it the last time it was on sale. I was skeptical since it's a class D amp but I was blown away by how good it sounded paired with my Elac Debut 2.0 DB52s which is my bedroom setup. $51 is a steal for this.

Try to see farther in front of you than your own two feet. Class D amps exist for good reasons. I won't tell you what they are since you have decided for everyone who happily uses one that they've made the wrong decision.

Great price and amp. I checked my order history and saw I got it for $59.99 on Cyber Monday 2023.

I use this exact amp to power a desktop 2.1 setup with bookshelf speakers and a huge sub. It works great! I actually already had a really nice Marantz receiver I could have used but it's gigantic and my desk isn't very big so I wanted something more compact. No complaints here, the amp usually goes for $65-80 so this is a good price

I have one and use it on my desk at work to power the Monoprice K-Bas speakers (no longer available) and it sounds quite nice for my near field listening.

The power adapter that came with mine was DOA and when I contacted them, they sent me the upgraded power adapter for 1/2 price.

This is a 2 channel stereo amp, curious how to configure it for 2.1
I was about to pull the trigger and realized its a 2.0. So genuinely interested how to do it.

They only share the name but they are quite different. XLRsupport / RCA subwoofer support/frequency adjustment are only from new one.

TI TPA3255 chipset. Deal breaker for me is the lack of Bluetooth and also I already have a better power brick. Get the a07 pro when it goes on sale. The upgrade is worth it.
