Just want to add that you should check your local thrift stores if you're just looking for simple stereo amplification. I've bought several donated avr receivers from brands like Denon, Yamaha, etc for between $10-$30 that were $1000+ when new. You'll get remote control capability (although you may need to buy a $6 universal remote since many of these used amps don't have the remote) and lots of other features like subwoofer output, phono inputs, headphone outputs, etc etc. The used avr will be much larger and use more power than a mini class D amp, but that's just part of the give and take for saving money. ✌🏼
I've found so many of these AVR's for dirt cheap that I've stopped buying them. I just couldn't resist the deal. I think I have like 10 AVR's in my house now. Lol. I'm currently using a slim line Marantz AVR I picked up for $35 with the original remote.

Note that this is for passive speakers only (mentioning this because it is asked several times on the product page). It also does not include a headphone amp. You can, however, connect an active sub with a built-in crossover to the 3.5mm jack. So while it's a 2.0 amp, it can work as a pseudo-2.1 setup without the ability to control the volume of the subwoofer.

The sub volume does not adjust with the volume knob (as suspected). In my case it's not an issue because I can set the sub at a volume that works for most things I listen to. My sub is also close enough that I can quickly adjust the volume if needed.

Otherwise the amp seems to work well. It produces enough volume for my KEF Q150 speakers for my listening environment (home office).

Maybe if you played at full volume for extended periods of time but generally you should not be able to damage speakers by "overpowering" them.

That's specified on the product listing. It's specified so people don't think it can be run as a preamp.

Weird. Can't imagine someone buying an amp that does not have rca outputs would think it could be used as a preamp. They must sell another similar looking device that does have line level outputs and ppl are getting them confused.

I have a "phono" enabled receiver, when I use my turntable it is not very loud. I can turn the receiver up to max and it still is not really loud at all. Is there a way to incorporate this to allow higher volume listening of my records?

That could be a cartridge problem. You can get a DJpre phono preamp with a gain knob to get louder output.

I had considered using an inline preamp but was concerned with potential damage to my receiver.
