phone is junk, as all android phones are at this price point. You can harvest the data plan.

Just setup the BLU phone with data plan, then call tracfone and say you upgraded phones and that you want to transfer service. I believe they can do through eSIM.

its 24GB for one year. Unlimited calls and texts.

use code SURPRISE30 to get the price of 67$. I think you may be able to stack with code WELCOME20 also.

Does this work for current Tracfone customers / devices, or would it have to be a new device? Specifically, 2 of my kids have a Moto G Power (their first phones) that is 4 months into a 12 month Tracfone plan that doesn't have unlimited texts/talk, and much less data. Could I buy this and have it be applied to their current plans/phones using the method above?

I don't really know, I would call support and ask.

Yes. Current minutes/text/data balance will be held suspended during the one year period when you apply this plan (unlimited minutes/text plus 24 GB data). After the one year period, they will be restored. Any leftover data from 24GB would not rollover after a year (I think).

]I'm looking for the cheapest plan for a smartwatch for a kid, just to keep track of where he is. Either a Samsung watch or Apple watch with LTE and eSIM. It will not be linked to a phone. It just needs to be able to make and receive calls/texts once in a while and to be tracked/located via GPS. Will this work if I activate the BLU phone then transfer the line to the watch's eSIM?

Thanks for any help!

We have a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 LTE on a $5/month (incl taxes/fees) through TMo for this. Only 500mb data per month, but it's a standalone device/number. Was a bit tricky to set up because that plan isn't really advertised and most assume you want the LTE to link/forward to your cell number , but talking to customer service helped.

nice deal, still a little bit pricey

Got one in Jan when the price was $80 before coupon. It was very easy to transfer the service using a byop sim.

Don't think TF even offers service for smartwatches (or tablets), they're phones only.
They're also pretty limited on esim activation as well - mostly newer iPhones.
You're better off going with a different provider but call support & verify - maybe something's changed recently.

thank you. mint mobile runs up on kids phone in a week so this is good timing. was able to use surprise30. can only enter one code though so no way to stack unless there is some other method I'm not aware of. hopefully getting this working on her unlocked iphone 12 and then porting over the number isn't too difficult
