Curious as to why the Best Buy site states that the resolution is 1024x1024 for this 4K Eufy camera(s), but then the Eufy website states that the resolution is 4K (3840x2160)? That's a bit of a drawback if it's only 1024 x1024 MB resolution. Also, just FYI, Amazon has the 3 camera 300C kit and the home base at a pretty good price too in case you need 3 cameras.

Don't need a subscription. Cloud sub is optional. Only cloud thing that could apply is if you configure your notifications to include a thumbnail, which it has to upload externally to serve to your phone.

The video would be stored in the Homebase storage, afaik there's no rtsp if you wanted to send to an existing nvr

For anyone that doesn't need 4K, I've had a few of the $20-30 indoor 2K cams running outside for a couple years, still going strong through rain, snow, heat. I do have them under awnings/eaves so it's not direct rain exposure and taped up where moisture can get in with electrical tape on the back. You might need to buy extra long USB cables for power too, I have them connected to an outside light fixture for power with screw in USB adapters.
