Yes it will be..common folk don't have enough commonsense to understand what's happening right before their eyes..it's almost as dumb as believing in something you have never actually seen! But the government would never let anything bad happen to us

What would you recommend. Every interior designer. Every Contractor. Everyone recommends LVP for durability and ease of installation.

This is a ridiculous comment!!! It's vinyl, it's been around.
My only concern with it is that it's touted as waterproof, which it is but it's not watertight. Water can get underneath and not really show if it's not much and I could see mold development happening in wet/damp areas.

OK. Since you are uncommon. What is the danger? Or are you one of the dumb folk to simply say....I don't know but it's gonna be something"?

I've had LVP I put in our house back in 2018 that still looks new. It's amazing how durable it is even with 3 dogs and now a toddler.

Depends on where you are installing it. I put it in my basement because it is water proof and won't warp/mold from the basement moisture. If it were my main floor, I would install something more real looking like engineered hardwood or even solid hardwood. I installed the solid hardwood in our house, but I know most people don't have the time or capability to do it. I'd still go with a laminated wood product (e.g., Pergo or something similar) on the main floor before going with a vinyl plank just to get more of a realistic appearance.

The LVP in may basement is holding up okay, but it would be holding up a lot better if I didn't have kids. there are quite a few chips and spots where the finish is completely worn off after only 2 years. Those spots stick out like a sore thumb because they are solid black and there is no good way to refinish those spots.
