That's odd.... three? "Why three? " you ask. Because of Logitech's absolutely abysmal reliability. There is a very well know issue with this mouse's clicker switches. Search google for "mx vertical drag" or "mx vertical microswitch". There's actually a mini-industry of people providing the service of replacing this (and others, as well) mouse's switches once they inevitably fail.
But it's still my all time favorite mouse. I finally had to draw a line and stop buying them on principle. I'm currently using their other vertical mouse, the "Lift". It's ok. The vertical MX Vertical was much, much more comfortable for me with my big hands. Oh well.
If you do buy this, get the amazon extended warranty. I promise you that YOU WILL USE IT. Fair warning provided....

Current setup is MX Keys and a M720 Triathlon connected to 3 unifying receivers; personal laptop, WYSE box from my 9-5 and another laptop I use for contract side hustle work. No BT is available or enabled for any of them.
Can this also connect to the three unifying receivers and allow me to switch between them like I do now? I do see that it's Flow capable, but honestly, I never got it to work consistantly with what I have now and I don't want to rely on it only to return it in a few days.
Thanks in advance for any insight.
(MX Keys is 3 yrs old and the M720 is 4 years old now.)
I'm on my second--the switch on the first wore out after years of heavy use. (I have the replacement switch, but haven't had time to do the repair.) Considering getting another just to have a backup...
The ability to map buttons and software for this is very useful, though personally more useful in the keyboard for me. If you so desired you could have a whole series of things set off by a mouse click. I made a keyboard shortcut button that copies text, opens a browser window, then chat gpt in it, and prompts it for a reply to the email using a formal, but not stilted tone of voice. Which allows me to and have a reply to an email in about a second. Anyway just an example but the button mapping software is pretty excellent, particularly if you have repetitive but complicated tasks you could use it for.
One commment on size. This is allegedly for big hands but honestly feels a bit smaller than I'd like. I have reasonably large hands, I'm usually an L or XL in glove sizes. This feels like I'm clicking not with the tip of my finger but closer to the most distal hinge on the finger. It feels slightly unnatural and took some adjustment but not a big deal. If the Lift is for smaller hands I can't imagine how tiny.
On my gaming PC I use a G604 Lightspeed which has been a good mouse, but the Logitech software is just awful, doing stupid things like keeping a whole CPU core pegged at 100% while sitting in the background doing nothing, and so I live with reduced functionality without the software.
The MX line is NOT for gaming. It's for office work, especially the mice. I have the MX Master 3 and the movement is "steppy" in fps shooters. You don't get smooth mouse movement because it's not designed for that use case. As for software, this probably uses Logi Options app like my Master 3. You don't need it unless you want to remap buttons.
I'm intrigued by your issue though, since I also have the G604, but my Logitech G HUB app is at 0% CPU and 80MB memory (no game running). So that's interesting.

I wonder if the "steppiness" might come through in things like graphics editors, where precision can be helpful.
They might've fixed the software issues, but it was buggy 3-4 years ago when I got the G604. The CPU core thing would happen sporadically and then get stuck until force quit with the task manager.

Ah, ok. I doubt you would notice any steppy behavior for the office if I never pointed it out. It might be the polling rate I'm thinking of, so it doesn't update the position as fast as gaming mice. It's still precise like a normal mouse. It's not noticeable for me (for work/office), as long as you're in dongle mode and not Bluetooth. Sometimes I get a weird issue where it seems super stuttery, but I cycle the connection button so it reconnects and it's back to normal.
EDIT: It is the polling rate. 125Hz for MX mice, and 1000Hz for G604. In everyday use, you won't notice it. For gaming, you probably would.
