I ordered from NASA directly. But they look sold out this morning. 😢

I know it is a tough call, but when I want to observe solar phenomena I just trust NASA more than Walmart.

NASA>>>>Walmart 🤣

Good luck with your eyes fellow slickdealers. I just know in my heart the $3 you will be saving will be well worth it.

Ironic that this solar event about the earth is creating so much plastic and paper waste that pollutes the earth.

You aren't required to throw the glasses away. You can use them for multiple eclipses. They don't have to be made out of titanium. You will only use them for a couple of hours each time.

NASA just slaps their logo on those cheap glasses and charges 10x+ more than others. Only people like you fall for it. 🤣

Gambling with glasses from NASA just sounds better.

"Multiple eclipses" ? Seriously? You are delusional thinking people are going to hang onto them.

That is a personal choice. This will be my second eclipse in a year. Didn't even have to leave the state. The universe brought the show to me. 🤣

My guy, I have saved 10 year old receipts for certain purchases. I think some of us are capable of holding onto some glasses for a few years. 😂

I am going to use these. I will only use my left eye....... If it burns and I go blind, Walmart will get a stern telling off from me.
And I will still have my better right eye for daily use...... Hope I don't end up walking in circles.
Hang on to your receipt so that you can get your 10 cents back too

If in Indiana, DNR in the state parks are selling them for 4/$10 at their park offices. Call ahead to make sure they have some.

"Made in USA"... for 10 cents, which really means made in China with a fake "Made in USA" label. Buy hey, maybe these are legit! They just stole a patent and now sell someone's invention dirt cheap.

I put these on and I could see through everyone's clothing. Had to return them and get the correct pair for solar viewing.

Just a heads up - if you're using welding lenses they must be shade 14. In my experience (I was in totality for 2017) even 14 isn't enough for long looks. I ended up stacking a shade 5 on top of the 14 for a much more comfortable viewing experience.

Welding goggles that fully block ambient light are extremely useful and really help make this an enjoyable and safe experience. That said, chances are you will not be able to find shade 14 lenses this late in the game. Worth a call to your local welding supply store, however.
