Saw one at my local Walmart in printer section with $157 clearance price. Pretty good for a new one since the refurbs typically cost about the same (when they're available).

Same. I got an error leading me to this webpage. https://brickseek.com/help/walmar...ker-update. Says the error should only occur from items that are ineligible for in store pick up I think, but I can click pickup in store on the brother printer via walmart's site
Yes but I'm interested in the price before I make the hour drive haha.
I have the version above this one, the MFC-2750DW.
I think the only difference between the two is that the 2750 has both duplex printing and duplex scanning (via document feeder), whereas the 2730 has duplex printing and one-sided scanning.
I bought mine for $240 refurbished two years ago.
Has worked flawlessly this entire time. I came from an inkjet printer before that and I'm never going back.

Does this printer allow double sided scanning without physically flipping pages by yourself?
It says 'No Duplex Scanning' but just wondering if there's a way
