Saw one at my local Walmart in printer section with $157 clearance price. Pretty good for a new one since the refurbs typically cost about the same (when they're available).
Link below is just for reference, deal is YMMV since it's $225 online.
excellent machine at a great price. Perfectly reliable, tons of cheap supplies available, and these models with a touchscreen can be set up to scan directly to Google Drive or OneDrive. I use this multiple times a day to scan all my receipts and bills works every time without a hitch.
Good printer, compatible with the older and cheaper TN730/TN760 toners. I'm holding out for the 2750 for duplex scanning but otherwise I'd buy this.
Tried to look for this on Brickseek with the SKU, but it didn't give any results. So sad that Brickseek is useless now.
I remember the days 2014-2017 when I had such great luck with Brickseek.

Flash cards and maps without State names will be printed in your future.
I taught military tech training for 6 years and it is unbelieveable the number of recruits we got that couldn't name the states on a map! It was very rare when a student could. My career field had very high ASVAB requirements so we were getting intelligent students they just didn't learn the states in school!
Get a laser printer like this. Here was our problem with ink jet and kids. When the kids needed something once in a while the ink would be all dried up and the store had ink for 30 dollars. With laser the printer will just work every time. As for the features the copier is a godsend. Kid brings home a super crumpled up paper make a copy of it and no more crumple.
Tell your family to not run stapled paper through the document feeder (the metal will scratch the glass). This printer does color scanning to your computer, set this up before you need it.
My least favorite part of my old Brother printer is the dark monochrome screen, this one has a nice color screen.
This is why I got a laser printer years ago. Unfortunately, I got the Samsung SCX-3405 and it doesn't have airprint and the software is crap and the app doesn't work well. Would like to get another but debating on if I want to spend this much. The scan to Gdrive sounds handy

I knew I had no intention of joining the military in high school when they forced us to take the ASVAB, so I answered the entire thing ABACADABA. Apparently that got me like a 98% in the decryption category and I had all branches reaching out to me about it. lol
I also have a MFC-L2740DW probably also 10 year old. Just to be aware there is a super capacitor that fails, I replaced mine and it works again. Here is a video which explains this
I've also had my L2740DW for same period of time. I remember thinking how cool that double sided scanning would be. Always been a laser printer guy due to the ink cost savings. Glad to hear that there are so many satisfied owners. Good to hear I picked a good one.
Also thanks for the video, mine hasn't blown yet but good to know there is a solution if it does. Lets aim for 20 year anniversay!

My old brother has the ability to "share" the print, this is how it prints from the phone. Not sure on this one.

Not everyone needs color
