I think they periodically send deals for new members or those that have lapsed, but not available to current subscribers.
Just picked up a PS5 after many years of using Xbox game pass/gold conversion.
IIRC best subscription prices are on Black Friday. Meanwhile, find PSN gift cards at a discount, and use that balance to pay for the BF deal. If you set a deal alert you'll often see Eneba, which some have complained about (hasn't failed me but maybe it's because I redeem ASAP). Safer option is to buy Costco's deal when it's on sale $100 for $80ish.

Its a little too on the face with the women leadwr and lgbtq looking characters but overall pretty solid. I enjoyed it.
