I go to a lot of baseball games and the restrictions have gotten insane - this was an easy way when I had to quit bringing my bag-of-holding purse that could carry a full meal.

Honest question, why do people like this idea over a wallet that stays safely tucked in a pocket?
I used to think like that but then I realized that my phone is legit always with me. I always have my phone with me, but not my wallet.
I started out with the adhesive wallet that stick to the back of your phone like 6 years ago, then to pop socket wallet for the past year. I will try this one since it's only $10.
This will definitely fit my use case.

These don't interfere with Apple Pay at all. The best thing I did in 2023 was buy the kickstand version of this and got rid of my wallet. The kickstand version is a tad bit better than this because you can flip out the finger loop side and it then becomes MagSafe-charging-compatible. And it has upgraded FindMy built in. The magnet on these really are superior than any other wallet.
Never understood the fascination with putting wallets in the back pocket. Mine has always been in a front pocket. Over the past decade or so there's a slew of thin wallets as well, no reason to carry a thick wallet anymore.
Do you have to remove the wallet (or credit cards) from the iPhone when you use Apple Pay to prevent the credit card's RFID chip from being scanned? Just dawned on me about what exactly happens when you place more than one contactless forms of payment near the point of sale reader.
Personally, I use a pop up wallet that has a slot for an AirTag. Still slim but I cannot condense to less than 5 cards so I'm not sure how everyone else is doing 3 cards. I go to Costco too, that's already 4. I don't like chancing if a place as Apple Pay or not, so I take more than 1 CC because I use cashback offers and sometimes one will be better than the other with a higher % cashback.

That's a good point, wouldn't the credit card get scanned by accident?
Some Costco locations have started the membership card scan at entry.

You don't need a card for Costco. The app has your barcode.
I have purchased a few over the past year. It's great for the first 3 months and the loop gets ruptured with use and the metal tears it at the end, rendering the loop useless. Otherwise MagSafe works great. For me personally, it's useless without the loop. Once you get used to that loop, muscle memory rules and you will 'odd' holding the phone without it.
