Walmart also has the official Lutron repeater box which has 60 feet of range compared to 30 feet with the hub and this dimmer.
I rarely ever see this thing go on sale, and it's currently $51.xx
I bought it instead. Can be powered by a USB cable too.

To add multiple lights to a single Pico remote, add the remote to the hub then go to the configure page for the remote. A page pops up with a drop down list that says "select all the divices you wish to control from this remote." You cam select as many lights to control as desired.
You probably are just linking remotes directly to lights without using the hub.
Further, I have a Hubitat connected to the Pro version of the Caseta hub via telnet, so I can do arbritrary logic with all my Caseta devices. Caseta is the best performing (reliable) system I have tried for home automation. It operates at around 400 MHz so the low frequency penetrates walls and avoids interference in a way that 2.4 GHz just cannot do. Highly recommended if you are interested in home automation.

If you want to avoid getting a backend logic box of some type, link a Pico to your switch and the other switches of interest and use that. Double tape the pico next to your switch amd put a double-gang plate around it and you are done.
Thanks!
It's different than a API key though, I feel like it's more of CA/Client certificate authentication since you'll need to download CA CRT, cert and a key from Lutron to use locally (I don't remember if I did that step... Maybe HA did it automatically).
This is HA's doc page: https://www.home-assistant.io/int...on_caseta/
This is the steps HA mentioned to retrieve the cert & keys: https://github.com/gurumitts/pylu...ng-started
I think this is the comment I saw on Reddit regarding difference between non-Pro and Pro hub for HA (I'm fairly new to Lutron Caseta): https://www.reddit.com/r/homeassi...t/izxpv3z/

The basics are:
Non-Pro Hub: API only
Pro Hub: API + telnet access

Lutron even makes a wall bracket mount for Pico remotes mounted this way.
