This would be much more tempting if it wasn't an HP. I've had enough experiences (my own or family/friends/acquaintances) with various HP laptops and computers over the years that HP is well down the list of computers I'll buy. That's just my experience and perception. Others have had no problems with HP laptops and it very well could be problem free for you.

Great specs for the price. Maybe look at extended warranties.

FYI, for those who don't know, HX series processors are basically desktop chips. That means this isn't a laptop you would ever really use on your lap, and you'll be lucky to get more than 2 hours of battery life.

They should call these devices "portable gaming computer with fold-down monitor" instead of laptops.

Nonetheless, good deal for a buyer who understands the limitations. I love the keyboard layout on the OMEN series and wish more OEMs would do this instead of the stupid stupid numpads that are on every 16" laptop.

I'd rather have the numpad at that point than all the useless keys they put on the side. Print screen is the only one you'd use frequently. Still gotta deal with offset keyboard and trackpad which I don't like.

It's a good deal if you're not picky, going to be around an outlet most of the time, and just want a 4070, but this is a budget laptop and you're getting a budget build, screen, trackpad, speakers, etc.
