I just checked the Walmart in Arden,NC and they are renovating the entire store so there are a ton of discounts on various TVs and electronics. There are 3 more 55 inch at the location at the listed price.
I was able to grab the single OLED 65 inch display model for $1,082 after tax. Repped OP.
Out of curiosity how many hours are on it? Sounds risky even at that price. There has to be 10k+
You can still check inventory for free but you have to sign into an account to use it.
It also isn't useful anymore for checking store prices, at least for Walmart. And it only shows the results for 2 stores at a time for me so I have to ZIP code hop around the city to check locations.
I have been appreciating Brickseek for years, although it is often inaccurate. However, I just checked for this OLED and Brickseek will now only show me 2 locations at a time, and they REMOVED the zip code input on the search page. Now I have to go into my account and change my zip code and then back out of my account to do a new search for another 2 locations. As there are over 10 Walmarts around me, this is a PIA. And then with the page overflowing with ads, can Brickseek possibly make this any more inconvenient.
Funny because I got to test a OLED for a couple days. After playing a few games on I have a new OCD unlocked. I now have a hard time playing games on anything but an OLED. Luckily I was able to score one of these deals. To me going from a low mid range LED to this is almost night and day.

That's the point. You're supposed to pay for it now. Capitalism babyyyy
Three in stock at a local WM in NJ I just stopped by but at $1298. What determines if they discount these, locality?
I think it's mostly based on the store manager or whoever sees over the clearance. I scored one for $699 and they had a 65" that was still showing $1798. Why mark the 55" down but not the 65"? I have been eyeing the 65" to see if it got a mark down. Today went in and the 65" and the display was completely gone.
My local store is either getting ready for the new models or they may do away with the OLED all together. I'm surprised my store even has them because it's a fairly small county. One of the reasons I couldn't pass on this deal.

You tried unplugging and letting it sit for a while? Might just be a PSU which is easy to swap with an eBay part.
Yes. Tried that. Might be the caps, just a nuisance, luckily I do most of my viewing on a 77" Sony oled
For like the nursery?

No the bathroom, the nursery gets at least a 65".
