Works great as a solo game as well, as in play by yourself as 2 or more people.

People watch TV, YT, social media, Netflix, etc., alone, all the time.

They also play video games alone all the time.

They knit, make quilts, do woodworking, gardening, etc., alone.

I personally don't see playing a board game solo as any sadder an activity than any of the above. In many instances, I could see it as better.

Every board game fan should have this in their collection. At $19 this is a no-brainer.

Did you know the rules are slightly different and Pandemic North America lets you keep your cards face up. You can also print Pandemic North America to see if is worth buying. IMHOP this would seem to lend better to single player.

disclaimer I only player PNA this weekend for my first time, we lost. Ran out of cards.
Most cooperative games can be played face up. The ones that don't "allow" it are really just encouraging communication, it wouldn't ruin gameplay. Realistically cooperative games are just one-player games anyway.

I noticed that I kind of lead the game and the results probably would have been the same if I played the 2nd player.

Do tell. I want links if you have them I grew up in the Midwest with many parents believing D&D was evil. I would like to know more.
You don't need to know much, and you don't need any links. Look to Damascus.

Is this the game they made in Davos Switzerland in 2019?
It comes with a hermetically sealed bag from the Wuhan Lab.

Move on to what? Forgetting about the past and what happened? Forgetting about history? Not holding people accountable for what they did? Go Tik Tok dancing instead? What?

It's why I hate cooperative games. Your friends probably aren't having as much fun as you.

As long as you don't dominate the game and let other people make decisions everyone will have a good time.

People who don't like board games and/or aren't competitive might like cooperative games. In my board game friend group, nobody likes them. We only pull them out if we have less serious players to include.
