Kitchen appliance fatigue. One can only have so many kitchen appliance you use twice a year and take up space the rest of the year.
Mine smokes like crazy. I have to take it outside as to not set off the alarms.
If you return it, they will refund the shipping too.

I've used this and we have a Ninja Grill to compare against it. There are some nice pros, like the clear top so you can see how things are cooking. On the cons side ... not smokeless. I have no idea how they even claim that. Huge difference between our Ninja and this in that department. Also, as others have mentioned, cleaning is a complete nightmare.

The Ninja is a lot more expensive but if your budget allows it, the Ninja is a far superior product.

I bought one when they were $60.
I like my regular AF and AFO better.

I guess you can't be smoking your cigarettes while using this thing, else it'd be false advertising?

Gourmia is a brand I avoid. Built to the cheapest specs. If Ninja makes something similar, buy the comparable product, and you'll be happy you did.

Only good use for this is if your apartments ban gas grills, as electric is the only thing allowed.
I would second thinking twice about Gourmia. We have their 7-qt air fryer and are thankful we purchased from Costco per the return policy. It works well, but does not last--we get around a year out of one, then run it back to return and buy a new one--we're on #3 right now. If it wasn't for the fact that we like how it works otherwise I would find something else. I guess we'll just continue on our yearly free replacement cycle until a more compelling option is available for the money.

This thing is also giant compared to the cooking surface. Bought in store for $39.97 and returned as I didn't want to dedicate that much space to it. It wasn't obvious until I set it in the counter.

Yes, saw some in my local warehouse lately, also at 4x.97.

I used to own one. The control interface sucks and did not work at all, one out of three times. The heating element is directly exposed to the dripping juices, which exacerbates the smoke and can get pretty bad. The smokeless option kinda-sorta-not-really works.

Bottom line, I returned it to Costo after about 8 months and three or four attempts at grilling burgers and chicken kabobs. I would not purchase or recommend it.

I bought this from costco in store for $60. This thing is huge and takes up alot of space. It is a pain to clean too. I returned it, took up took much counter space and can only cook "flat" food items. Get basket type air fryers instead.

I have the Ninja Foodi 4-1 and love it. The only issue is no temperature probe and too small. I am still waiting for the Ninja Woodfire deal under $200.

I use the Grill XL (I think it is called). It does have the temperature probe built in. Air Frys, Grills, etc.
