As long as its 3200Mhz DDR4 8gb stick it will work in the AMD and intel deals talked about here.
I tried another one (my Mom's - I'm buying for her). I know she hasn't ever used Dell.
She (her account) didn't even get an email.

Dang. I was planning to order it to Phoenix area and then take it with me next month (when I go to visit my Mom - she struggles with technology
Maybe I should order it to her address (in Chicago)? Or does every state get the $5 "Eco Fee"?
I have both this 35xx series and the 5000 series Dell Inspiron 15, and the 35xx series feels like a throwaway laptop in comparison. The Intel 3520 lacks USB-C and even loses a USB port compared to the older 3511.
