Lowe's via Doordash[doordash.com] is offering select Doordash Accounts: $20 Off w/ Minimum of $45+ Purchase (excluding fees/taxes) for first-time purchase from Lowe's with promo code LOWES20 valid until 4/14/2024.
Nope. Doordash will send the order to whoever they can. It will show item count but not what item it is.
Eh, fees and tip on a $45-50 order with DashPass are like $9-10 ($2.50 fees, $6-7 tip is my usual for a simple order in my smallish city). I needed a step ladder that was $50 and grabbed that, total price delivered to my door with a $7 tip was $40.55.
If it means me not having to go to the store, I don't care if I'm only saving $0.50. That's good enough for me.
You have to remember it's not just simply a matter of saving some negligible amount of money, but really more so about saving time.

plenty of illegal immigrants using stolen dasher accounts that will gladly accept my order. Yesterday a male Hispanic delivered my no tip order, but the app said the dasher's name was Cynthia. The food was delivered on time and hot.
Not something to be prideful about, I own a restaurant and speak spanish many are doing doordash/instacart/uber/walmart to pay back "coyotes" who smuggled them in. They live 20 to a house (hostage might be more appropriate) and have to earn enough to pay back $15,000 - $20,000 in debt.
The accounts are created using the stolen identities of Americans who end up getting nasty letters from the IRS so that's another person getting screwed over. Then there is "tren de aragua" which is the main gang behind all this and these delivery companies just look the other way. Not even meth junkies are desperate enough to do deliveries for $2 so the companies just turn a blind eye to it.
I've forwarded cases to DHS and it's a serious problem nationwide they don't even have the resources to handle most cases it's really gotten out of control in the past year. The delivery company it's most documented on is with walmart they seem to really like it
No matter what your position on immigration is I think we can all agree that what's going on is messed up. If they were doing it on their own free will ok that's a different case and a reasonable person can reach their own reasonable conclusion but the current situation is just wrong.
It is what it is champ. As soon as I place the no tip order on DoorDash, in a few moments I get a notification that a dasher is on their way to pick up the order. I've placed over 500 orders in the past year and I've had issues with 4 orders. Just from an actuarial point of view it's not worth tipping on all those orders when I only have an issue with less than 1% of the orders. I've saved literally thousands by not tipping 🥰
My favorite thing to do is order 4 or 5 cases of water from the grocery store through DoorDash
It's worth it to them because they are churning accounts and getting referral bonuses so that $2 ride turns to $8. There is no way he said he loves getting $2 paying $3 in gas. You are full of it. And trolling probably.
I got a flex garden hose with this deal that developed multiple tiny leaks within a week of use. I tried getting in touch with DoorDash support chat and they were utterly useless... their scripts are based around food and grocery delivery, so they can't comprehend why someone would want to return something after a WHOLE week! They said it's been too late to return, and I explained that I am not asking them to refund anything, I just want some kind of store order number or receipt that I can use to return or exchange the hose. They basically just hung up on me.

If there is the slightest possibility of return then buying direct from store is usually the best.

What wrong if the company provides a service and we just use it?

No, the dasher texted me to confirm that I indeed ordered 26 bags, saying that he did not have truck, but a hour later order was delivered
