Being a child in the mid-70s, a telecaster was my first memory of an electric guitar!
I always find them cool.

Man, I loved Miami Blue on the Adorama am II pro strat (and returned re: qa issues) and I've been looking for a Tele deluxe, but I'm just not sure if this combo gels for me. I tend to prefer my teles with more natural finishes like BSB or a burst.

Pretty guitar, but it's used and per a quick Google search, not that special a price.

Guitars from Franklin Guitar Works are not really used, exactly, but are open-box B-stock guitars that are marked "used" so that Fender doesn't have to honor their warranty.

It's really a pretty solid deal IMO with a $1849 retail. The Miami Blue color, however...

Ended up biting the bullet. The color grew on me.

Just arrived and some interesting notes. Fender checker dates this to 2/2024, though the first numbers of the serial are 23. No "used" stamped on the neck, though I knew that would be the case before buying. No signs of use, slightly out of tune. I'm going to assume this is brand new, just sold as used to price under MAP. No warranty, but they're almost never needed on a guitar anyway.

Update: No intonation done whatsoever. Not a huge deal, but man, $1850 msrp and they can't even spend 15 mins to dial that in? My mod shop was perfect, fwiw.
