BONUS1500 Promo code during account creation to be eligible. I've personally just gone through this today, and the promo was auto-applied, showing in top banner of each page as I went through the signup. They almost caught me to create a new Savings account too with a single click, but skipped that one. On the following screen it showed me my new account and routing numbers, along with the promo details, the code and terms listed yet again.
No published expiry date at this time.

Qualifying deposit will be judged by the balance in your account from days 15-105 of account opening. For example, if you had funded the account with $50 on day 2, but then transferred $99,950 on day 14, you're eligible for $1500 bonus back in your account by day 165 of account opening. Alternatively, if you added $20,001 on day 2 and left it there until withdrawing $2 on day 104, you will receive a $0 bonus.

Surprised that nobody in this thread even understands what's going on. For $20,000, 4.35% APY over 3 months is $217.50, however you're also getting a $300 bonus, so you're getting $517.50 for 3 months. That equates to10.35% APY.

This is the same for the other deposit amounts.
Doesn't look like it if you currently have one.
They clearly address that at the beginning of the footnotes at bottom of main deal page, listing multiple account types open with them "on or after January 1, 2022" as making you ineligible for this offer. I'd encourage all to RTFM for straightforward questions like these.
There are quite a few other High Yield Savings Accounts that don't have such restrictions and have higher rates of return. Here's a list I compiled this morning:

APY
Amex: 4.35
Sofi: 4.6, $300 bonus direct deposit
Synchrony: 4.75
Wealthfront: 5.00 (get .5 bonus for 3 months if you refer a friend)
Citbank: 5.05 (5k minimum deposit)
Texas capital: 5.1
Everbank: 5.15
Ufb direct: 5.25
Western alliance: 5.36

For 100k you would earn $5,360 per year at Western versus $4,350 + 1500 = $5,850 with the Capital One deal. If you have less than 100k to invest the other options are better.

So let me get this straight, you "have millions" and you're on SD and you're commenting on CVS toothpaste deals and Drano at Amazon? BTW, my grandmother was Elizabeth Taylor.
I have at least A million $ and yes, I'm a SDer.

How do you get a million $? By saving 1$ and 2$ at a time over a long time period and investing wisely, that's how.

You know where Warren Buffet lives? He's farking loaded and still lives in the same 3 bedroom house he's had since forever.

But you need to wait another 2 months for the bonus funds so it's over 5 months, not 3, correct?
No, you can take your money out after 90 days

You can't. You should at least transfer the money out to two third banks then transfer it back in to Cap1 to make the fund look fresh.

That would not work either. Banks calculate new money from a baseline that may be 2 or 3 months back. The money would need to be off deposit for quite awhile for this to work.

No. I did this in the fall and I withdrew my money on the 91st day of the holding period and it paid out 3 days later. Just make sure you note your opening day, funding period (15 days), and holding period (90 days after the funding period).

Just did a quick search and it seems those are NOT FDIC insured. Not sure if I would feel comfortable to put money there for 10+ years
Yes they are not FDIC insured, but they are government agencies like Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae which cannot fail so they are relatively safe. The money is not for 10 years, they are usually callable and they will be sold back much sooner than 10 years. I buy this on my rollover/Roth IRA account if you are not watching your money.

For anyone interested, Worthy Bonds is currently 7% APY until at least Jan 2026. All bonds are only $10 each.

I did this back in December and they deposited my bonus just a few days after the 90 day hold period.

There is no FDIC or SIPC on this, right?

Currently, in the market for a bank to hold some funds... any drawbacks to leaving about 50K after the 90 days?

Yeah, I don't think it's that strange. I am the same. I started using slickdeals (and before that fatwallet) when I was younger and had no money. Now I use it because it's a hobby and I enjoy saving money. Just because I have a lot of money doesn't mean I don't still like a deal. I'm the king of using points for flights and hotels and my friends make fun of me for it. But I'm saving thousands on every vacation. Why is it funny to save money? Even if I have it???

This reminds me of when I was asked why I shop at discount grocery store when I was driving what I was driving. My response was I'm not shopping at that store because I have this vehicle, I have this vehicle because I shop at this store.

The savings and spending habits of those that reach a good level of wealth don't necessarily evaporate when they hit a certain dollar threshold. There's attaining the level, then there's growing and maintaining the level after that.

TLDR: I am absolutely unsurprised those with $1M+ would be Slickdealers, it is that mindset that gets many there.
And whats the benefit of getting there if mindset is still to save nickle and spend pennies.....this is standard problem of many who do not know how to live does not matter what they have.

Cool. Gonna close the account now?
I'll probably keep it open a month or two so it doesn't look so obvious I signed up just for the bonus. Already pushed most of my money out. I'm only keeping like 10 bucks in the account.
