I have been using the Thermalright PS120SE CPU air cooler (7 Heat Pipes CPU Cooler) from Amazon. No problems so far. I also used a Fractal PC case that B&H once sold for $35. No problems so far.

13700k vs 14700k they both are great! and the dif is just a gain of 3-5% in speed. If you want the best for your money you can go for the 13700k but honestly for now, if you have the 12900, stay there, get a better AIO Cooler and wait for the upcoming generation. save some money because it will change CPU socket and Motherboard as well.

Yes, but also because the deal you referenced doesn't come with RAM
Yep, I made it clear that this combo deal from Microcenter is much better than the Ryzen 5950x + B550 deal from eBay, lol…I've included benchmarks from i9 12900k and Ryzen 5950x users.

It certainly is. This is a great deal. If one wishes to squeeze all the performance out of a 12900k, it's going to use a lot of power, and create a lot of heat. If those things aren't concerning, it's a great chip.
It does. Onboard WiFi.
Would this be a bad, good, or great combo for PC Racing games?

(Same question for 13700 at $100 more)
I already have a 12900 system in a driving simulator and it runs HOT! I'm building a system for another room for games and 3-d modeling and I'm tempted to spend the extra money for a 14700 bundle.
Does the 14700 run less hot?
I got this deal last time and just about to build the computer.
Might make another for 3D.
