Another steal from the guys over at mygiftshop. I feel like I'm always repeating myself but I scour their website daily. Damn guys got me addicted after the Timex Q deals.
Things to note:
Movement based off ETA 2824
80 hour power reserve!! with power reserve complication
42MM case (too big for my baby wrists)
Can't find lug to lug, but based on other 42mm Jazzmasters, 49mm, so should fit most
22mm lug width, 20mm clasp
12.64mm thick
I bet the stock leather strap sucks but that's an easy swap
Can't tell if it's a sunburst dial or not
Good brand name/history
YT video of watch I found
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JWzcdW4c4Q
sweep is kinda chunky, but hey 75 hours PR
Cheapest on eBay $795
Cheapest off of google, $690 (Amazon shows 640 but link doesn't show that price)
$416 with code HD249 , comes out to $422 shipped for me
Freaking steal if you're into it imo
Time to grab my popcorn and read the SD comments.

I can never wear a smartwatch owning so many gorgeous mechanical pieces but I do wear a fitness tracker on my ankle (fitbit inspire) just for the basic fitness stats if I go jogging or play a sport like tennis. I find most Android ones terribly inaccurate anyway and they only encourage even more phone use that I like to stay away from. Of course if you're a parent or need it for work, that's a totally different use case.

Wow, great reply and info CF!
Super locked and loaded for JOMW now, even moreso w/no THREE (message definitely received). Snagged the vid he released today and in my watch later list asap. Later, I will likely recurse through his old vids for any watch types and info of interest to me.
Yes, I'm VERY interested in practical value yet still decent watches. I've watched a couple of Teddy's vids and while not in my ballpark (with few exceptions $$$), I still like watches in general, so learning more about even high-end watches can be nice... but since we all have limited time, my time is better spent on other more attainable and practical channels.
Thanks for the input on the Hamilton Field watch and the brand in general. What you say is kind of my impression of the brand even with my limited information so far. And I know they are known especially well for the field-watch/(and -ish) watches, down our alleys. Appreciate your lived experience of the Hamilton quality... consistent with my exposure so far (info elsewhere).
The problem, I got attached to a smartwatch first, and it's hard to give up some of the features, especially the health-related ones (but I like your solution to some of them). I also really like the afib and fall detection, + elective proactive emergency summoning too ( can be outside of those events).
Then alarms, hourly chime, notifications for a select few apps that have that permission, etc. At a glance temp and other info.
You are right, the Watch 5 Pro is kind of in the middle for tracking overall, although it does have one of the more accurate step counters.
Who knows, I may be able to transition out of it, we'll see. I could also just have the watch in a pocket for some of those features. We'll have to see. But it is a crying shame not to be full-on mechanical all the time. Easy decision and no dilema at all like 10-15 years ago.
Happy (wrist-)watching! Thx again for the input, watch people are great overall, it seems! Great community.
I'm more into technical look, but recently fell in love with the retro Sugess ST19 (https://youtu.be/LuFe2ULzFto).
I have a decent collection from Movado, Certina, Tissot, to Citizen, Casio, Orient, and a few Chinese brands like San Martin. I love them all. I got very close to buying an Omega Planet Ocean but didn't pull the trigger when I thought about how many other watches I could get for that price.
There is so much to love in the world of watches. Do take your time though.
Here's my favorite Casioak: https://youtube.com/shorts/kbkma6zCw4s
It and the ST19 are my daily drivers. Going on a long trip soon and debating between the two to take along with my Galaxy watch 6 (to track steps, sleep, and activities). Digital watch faces are nice, but they are a far cry from the look and feel of a real watch dial.
I also love Just One More Watch. He does a great job at covering affordable watches. In fact, I bought a few recently from his videos.
Teddy's videos are super high quality. I love learning about watch lore and manufacturer visits. I will eventually buy some high end pieces, but I'm good with sub $500 for now.
That said, I'll visit Europe soon and am looking to pickup a good Swiss or German piece, maybe from a micro brand like Nomos. I'm partial to Certina, but taking suggestions. Nothing over $1k plz.

Thank you for all of this, with links and pictures and everything. Loved and saved it all, and subbed to your YT channel.
I liked your point about Teddy's channel because I just love watches, even the unattainable ones. Love watch history too.
I also liked your Watch6 comment. How and when do you wear two. Typically one on each wrist or both on the same one (... I suspect one on each)? And even when wearing a short-sleeved shirt? TIA!

I have the ST19 movement in Seagull 1963… and recently I ordered this Sugess (Breitling Deux homage) on Ali Express anniversary sale for $112 with swan neck and leather strap, still waiting for the delivery.
