Another steal from the guys over at mygiftshop. I feel like I'm always repeating myself but I scour their website daily. Damn guys got me addicted after the Timex Q deals.
Things to note:
Movement based off ETA 2824
80 hour power reserve!! with power reserve complication
42MM case (too big for my baby wrists)
Can't find lug to lug, but based on other 42mm Jazzmasters, 49mm, so should fit most
22mm lug width, 20mm clasp
12.64mm thick
I bet the stock leather strap sucks but that's an easy swap
Can't tell if it's a sunburst dial or not
Good brand name/history
YT video of watch I found
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JWzcdW4c4Q
sweep is kinda chunky, but hey 75 hours PR
Cheapest on eBay $795
Cheapest off of google, $690 (Amazon shows 640 but link doesn't show that price)
$416 with code HD249 , comes out to $422 shipped for me
Freaking steal if you're into it imo
Time to grab my popcorn and read the SD comments.

I liked your point about Teddy's channel because I just love watches, even the unattainable ones. Love watch history too.
I also liked your Watch6 comment. How and when do you wear two. Typically one on each wrist or both on the same one (... I suspect one on each)? And even when wearing a short-sleeved shirt? TIA!
As for watches, I only wear one at a time. I do love my analog watches so I'm eagerly waiting for the Galaxy ring to do what my smartwatch can do now while freeing up my wrist 😁.
Have fun and enjoy this hobby. Do what you like. Most people don't understand our hobby, so they focus on brand. It's natural and understandable. Me, I do what makes me happy. If I love an orange Seiko monster, I'll wear one. If I want a yellow car, I'll drive one.

I almost pulled the trigger on the 1963 last year but held off bc of the manual winding. Wasn't sure I'm willing to go that far into mechanical watches. The Sugess pushed me over the edge because I LOVE that Top Time Deus dial. The beautiful lume and the ST1901 movement came for the ride. It hasn't left my wrist since I got it 2 weeks ago. I haven't even gotten to use it with the orange FKM strap yet. It's a bit loud but nice for the spring/summer season.
The first four on that link are intramatics, but I'm guessing there's a different style that you're looking for.
Here's the direct link to one. It's a 38mm and they have the same one in 42mm next to it on the first link that I posted. They also have the lighter brown one in the same case sizes.

Thank you, great information.
It's quite apparent that people really appreciate Hamilton for quality and value. I'm totally down with traditional and simple. Quality at a decent price... attainable value is where it's at for me. Field and pilot watches are what I strongly lean towards. Yet another vote for Hamilton and similar, thank you.
Thank you for this information and and the awesome new website resource!

Thank you for your answer on how you wear the watches. I think it will be hard for me to wear two watches with short sleeves, but I may still go ahead and do it... because like you said, don't be totally dictated by societal norms (for reasonable deviations of course). Obviously I'm probably not going to show up to a job interview like that, etc, but otherwise I agree completely with your take.
Yes I'm looking forward to knowing more about the Galaxy Ring and its pricing (especially whether it will have a subscription and if so whether it will be very reasonable).
The rings do open up new possibilities. But even still, not sure if I want to be separated from my Watch5 Pro. I really do love this thing. Which in a way, is unfortunate now.
Yeah you were right about most non-watch people not knowing the difference between just branded watches and real watches made directly by watch companies... I was one of them just a few months ago. And you are right again that it's totally understandable.
And many of those branded watches can be good, but not as often great... especially with regard to mechanical watches.
Happy Monday Zerosvn (& everyone!) 🙂

I can never wear a smartwatch owning so many gorgeous mechanical pieces but I do wear a fitness tracker on my ankle (fitbit inspire) just for the basic fitness stats if I go jogging or play a sport like tennis. I find most Android ones terribly inaccurate anyway and they only encourage even more phone use that I like to stay away from. Of course if you're a parent or need it for work, that's a totally different use case.
Where did you get it head blasted? Was that to get rid of the polished bezel look?
