Thanks to Community Member BabyBubba for finding this deal
Note: Ensure that you select the Light Plan annual plan/service on the product page to get the discounted price. Available as eSIM or with a SIM Starter Kit (select from the page).
A Free 30-Day Trial Kit is also available here for New Customers Only, use promo code FREEKIT in your cart.
Includes:
Unlimited Talk/Text
1GB Data
5G mmWave & C-Band (Nationwide 5G Standalone if using GSM network)
US Mobile has Unlimited Talk & Text + 1GB 5G Data per month for $6.00 per month when purchased by the year ($72/Year). Activate with their SIM card or instantly with eSIM. All taxes and fees included in $72 price.
Use Promo Code FREEKIT to order a free starter kit with SIM card, with free 4-6 day delivery. You can also get your first month free, then purchase the $6/month 1 year plan near the end of the free month. US Mobile rep told me that porting your old number doesn't interrupt service for more than a few minutes during transition. SIM Card Starter Kit link:
The light plan is NOT an unlimited data plan. The 1GB is a hard cap. There is no throttle, data is cut off after 1GB. Good for very light data use or secondary line.
You can find a 1GB data-soft capped plan, w/unlimited talk and text, @ $60/year via Good2Go Mobile here: https://slickdeals.net/f/17412297
Hello Mobile also has a similar plan. Unlimited Talk + Text but with only 500MB data HARD CAP. $5/month and no need to purchase an annual plan. https://hellomobile.com/shop/plan...text-500mb
Taxes and fees are included. This is the normal price, so no reason to rush straight into it. So long as you haven't done it in recent past, take advantage of the free month first. Just make sure to cancel it a few days earlier, as they will renew it at that monthly plan a few days before the end of the trial period. You can cancel that and replace it straight into the $72 annual plan from their dashboard. Just did it last month. Perfect plan for a flip phone.
My daughter's on this plan. The data cuts off.
This is not a new deal. They've had this light plan for ages at this price

Hmm, I just bought the $80 Tracfone that includes 1 year unlimited talk/text and 24GB data total (2GB per month average, but any unused data you can use later in the year). Was going to transfer to my other phone.
Does US Mobile have better data prioritization than Tracfone?

Can you share the link to buy tracfone plan that you mentioned? Thank You

HSN and QVC home shopping sites have both run this deal, but HSN is now $119.99. QVC still has it for $79.99 but they've dropped any mention on the product page of the 24GB it used to be bundled with. Search "Blu Tracfone Unlimited" on either site. it was as cheap as $60 with promo codes recently on QVC. Came with a 5G phone for that price, a pretty smoking deal.
This one is better. Tracfone is annual. This one is monthly. If you accidentally use up all your data, you're hosed for the rest of the year. With this one, it's less than 30 days. Doesn't have slow data from what I can tell, that some other plans or companies provide, which is halfway helpful.
Yeah I was tempted by that deal but it just sounded like a real headache having to order a separate Sim to switch phones.
Lately I've been taking advantage of introductory pricing from boost Mobile but that's just about to end and even if I want to use a new email and a new number I can't find the 3 months for $15 deal anyways.
My only concern about this deal is... Is there any way to pay for extra data if you run out at the end of the month?.
I usually can get by with less than 1 GB of data but in those months that I couldn't it would be nice if I could you know I don't know pay 10 bucks for an extra gigabyte or two to get me through.
Yeah although it's a lot less data total so it really just depends on your use case. I probably wouldn't use 24 gigabytes in a year but I guess I understand the concern if you went real heavy, even on accident, with data.
Accidentally leave some movies playing or something with data on and you wake up and you're done for the year!

It chewed 1GB in 1 hour.. My android... How do you manage 24GB in a year unless this is standby line

If you have a newer phone with eSIM, you can get a cheap 7, 15, or 30 day for a few bucks from Mogo, Airalo, Nomad, and some others to tide you over.
Yeah 1GB a month is definitely not for everyone. I do most of my internet usage with devices other than my phone and with WiFi, so I'm able to make it work for me. Even still it requires discipline like you said. That Visible plan sounds like a great deal for unlimited; maybe you should consider posting it if it's still available.
It was a promotion they ran in New Years Day through the end of January. $20/mo for unlimited high speed data is pretty unbeatable. I think someone posted it at the time, but I'll repost it if the deal becomes active again.
Is Light Plan the cheapest yearly plan on Verizon/ATT towers for now?
Don't need unlimited minutes (200 min/month plenty for me), but phone doesn't work with Tmobile.
Red Pocket has a $30/year plan that should be a fit. They use all 3 major networks so pretty much any unlocked phone should be compatible. 200 Minutes Talk, 1000 Texts, 200MB Data monthly for $2.50 per month.
This is Tmobile, which is 100% guarantied to NOT work with my phone. Even FCC complaint didn't helped (Metro phone fun).
Thanks for your response anyway.
