Did not honor the 6 multiple pack and send only 1, but I bitched in chat at them and they gave me a $5 coupon code via an email. I'm a Walmart plus customer.
I chose shipping with walmart+. They had someone actually drive it from the store. ONE JUG. I called customer service last night and spent over hour on hold. while taking to 2 people on and off. They kept saying. "We see you bought one item" . Got no where. I'll just take it back to the store I guess.

I must have clicked the wrong response because they told me I couldn't do anything in chat and to call.
The low IQ person I talked to might have made me dumber.
Advance Auto parts will not honor orders made via this deal. Their customer service basically told me to pound dirt because it's my fault thinking they might have a good deal on something
Store pickup order (ordered 1x 6 pack):
Store said they would have honored it once I got there but they didn't have any more in stock (we walked over there to double check and the computer also showed mine as the last one). Walmart.com customer care issued me a $25 off $45 coupon for future use, and store adjusted the price on the one bottle to $4.xx (1/6 the price). I actually spent about 45 mins in the store while she called walmart.com care to try and figure out what was going on. They have to call the same line we do and go in like any other customer via the prompts etc, and she was clearly no fan of them.
Ship to home order (quantity of 2):
Chat said to call in. Call was connected relatively quickly. After about 5 mins on hold, she refunded 5/6 of my purchase price, so I got 2 jugs for under $9. She was able to "mirror" my account and see in the purchase history that it said multipack of 6 for each item. Before that she said it was only a quantity of 2, so that seems to be the critical step (also had screen shots if needed and my online order was still showing that they were 6 packs even though the site has been fixed).
So 15 quarts for about $12.50 plus tax, plus $25 off that I may or may not be able to use, so not complaining there. YMMV.

Wait, so you actually DID get a 6 pack in store? When I did my in-store, they told me 6-packs didn't exist. So they just gave me my money back. A coupon would have been nice, so maybe I should call.

No they only had one single jug, and adjusted the price to 1/6 of what I originally paid. If they'd had more jugs they would have honored it.
They also said there is no such thing as a 6 pack, and the smaller stores don't even carry the 3 pack, they split it open and sell singles only (different barcode on the outer plastic so when they add it to inventory the computer knows the difference).

Thanks. That makes sense. The pickup person I was dealing with couldn't wrap their heads around any of it. So I thought I'd have better luck at CS. Turns out they were worse and had zero critical thinking skills.

Yeah they had to get a manager over, everyone else was clueless. If you chat or call (assuming you placed an online order for pickup) they may offer you something, they gave me a $25 off $45 coupon when the store called them. I ended up cancelling the order on my phone then she just rung it up at the register and adjusted it to $4.50 or whatever.

Thanks. I'll try tomorrow. I had an online, in-store pick up and an online delivered order. The store on, the guy scanned it as fulfilled before I could tell him I didn't want it so I had to go stand in line to return it. For the other one, I called today and the rep told me to "order again and it'll be right this time, I promise" LOL.

Yeah, especially when it is now out of stock for online orders (even the corrected single pack), not really a helpful suggestion. The rep I got didn't seem to know about it but after a few mins on hold while she talked to her supervisor, they obviously did know and told her to issue the refund for the missing items so the whole call was like 10 mins total.
Some people have been getting a full refund, I got 10/12 refunded, which I'm perfectly happy with, along with the coupon (which was actually issued by online support for the store pickup order, and in your case should still qualify for some sort of "we're sorry" gesture). 3x 5qt bottles for $13.50 ish with tax, plus a $25 coupon, can't complain about that.
