I just did the chat and they gave me a full refund and said to keep the one jug I received. So all in all I guess it was worth the effort.

How'd you all even get to a real person chat? I tried three times on different days and different hours and each time I started chat, the bot said I had to call.
The actual person on the phone offered me 15 percent off my order to keep them, LOL. After pushing a bit -- basically I wasn't going to take that and they were going to have to pay to have 4 jugs shipped back -- I got them to give me half off the order. That seems reasonable to me since it was clearly a web error that they could have straight-up denied.. Sure, it's not as good as free, but it comes out cheaper than the Costco/Kirkland synthetic deal that I was going to grab if that hadn't come up.

I went into the help on my orders page and said I am missing part of my order. Which is true since it was "supposed" to be 6 jugs and I only received one. Then you have to jump through a couple "Is this REALLY the one??" type clicks/hoops but eventually went to an actual chat agent.

Thanks. Yeah, I tried that. I thought after the second cycle it was going to give me a chat, but instead the "you must call" thing popped up. I'm guessing it's a combo of the decision tree AND availability of agents.

Well we do have Walmart+... that definitely shouldn't make a difference but maybe it is easier to chat with a live person?
Smell like a scandal since I received the one today and the receipt marked as sell to bo yang and ship to bo yang @ new york. Sounds like a resell with deceiving information.
I bought Qty: 2 of the 6 multipacks.
I received 2 singles. (expected)
I contacted support and because it is out-of-stock they couldn't process an automated replacement.
They told me to take it back to the store for a refund and I explained that I order online to avoid the hassle of going to the store. They offered to contact the store for the remaining 10 5 qt containers. (If this works out I'll be ecstatic) or a returnless refund.
Hoping for the first one, but obviously not holding my breath. I don't even have a car that takes 5W-30.... but I have friends/family that do and I'd be able to help some of my close friends and family with oil changes.
Update: Local walmart store ignored Walmart Corporate's email request. Walmart corporate was contacted again. Chat support was not helpful and very rude.
Called up, spoke to an agent that was very nice and helpful. Offered me a full refund and apologized for the miscommunication, when he tried to process it he had difficulty and put it in account notes for the supervisor to see.
Supervisor picked up after over a 30 minute hold and was immediately rude. She ignored all account notes, accused me of lying, threatened to "write this in your account notes so nobody helps you or gives you a refund" then hung up on me without even researching the issue.
Called again, spoke to Mohammed who was also helpful, explained exactly where it said Multipack 6 and transferred to supervisor. Spent over an hour on hold, nobody picked up and at the 1 hour mark the phone call was hung up. Not sure if it's automatic?
Called back, spoke to a lady (forgot to get her name) who created an incident number, I've opened a PayPal dispute.
Yes, mistakes happen.
Yes, this seemed "too good to be true" (but if it wasn't, I'd be kicking myself in the butt for not taking advantage)
I'm not mad I'm not getting the oil deal of a lifetime, I'm mad I have wasted 4+ hours of my life dealing with this issue to get a refund on their problem only to be called a liar, threatened, waiting on hold, all while I was extremely polite and professional.
Tried the "chat" feature and the agent was clueless and kept saying "If you ordered 6, that'd be $149!!!" I'm guessing they can't see the order history page that blatantly says "Multipack Quantity: 6" or something.
I called the 1-833 number and the agent first tried a replacement but said the system wouldn't let him so he just refunded me in-full for the 2 I ordered.
