I don't have experience with this exact tool, nor have I been tracking prices on it either but I'm sure some of the other team yellow SDers will chime in...
It has held up fairly well, but don't think it would if it was used daily. I had to clean out concrete dust from the motor with a heavy cleaning of PD Blaster twice now.
I have this tool and it's a huge step up from the standard cordless hammer drill. It is very powerful and has good battery life. I primarily drill 3" deep holes in concrete slabs for Tapcons.

It does have hammer only function since it's a rotary hammer. Only dewalts smaller 5/8" rotary hammer doesn't have hammer only. From what I've seen from all brands seems to be any rotary hammer, not hammer drill, with a rating of 3/4" or larger always have a hammer only mode
