Also there's probably no customer service I assume like mint mobile
Why do people always talk out of their ass on this site?
There def is CS, American based btw. John is a gdamm legend if you have the pleasure of speaking to him.
Mobile X, a Verizon MVNO, is a good alternative that gives you 1.5GB for $5/month. They charge very little for overages and they have a max charge of $24.88 per month if you go over. Check their data forecaster.[mymobilex.com]
Where in Mobile X web does it list 1.5GB for $5/mo?
We do Tello for our kid who lives abroad. $5/month and I manually renew each month so the data rolls over and is available when visiting the US. Or you could change plans when you come to the US and change back the following month. It's super flexible.
How does it compare to Tello? Seems like Tello allows data n minutes roll over if you manually renew and also has free international calling which aren't available in good2go
I am looking for a plan for my 11 year old. I am looking for something cheap but on AT&T or Verizon network. It doesnt need a ton of high speed data, but if throttled, unlimited.

Govt. taxes & fees $7.93
Surcharges & fees $25.80
That is nuts!
So $7.81/mo for unlimited talk and text, plus 1GB of high-speed data plus unlimited 128Kbps data for maps, email, and iMessage - not bad!
I know folks paying $10/mo plus taxes and fees for that.
I think that's for folks on the ACP plan.
IMHO Tmo for metropolitan but AT&T for travel into rural areas.
