I used to be a HUGE Google Nest WiFi proponent. NO MORE! They screwed a huge customer base with the lastest firmware update and are not planning to fix the problem. They are done getting my money.
Bought this on sale about 10 days ago at Costco and just got a price match on the clearance item. The only caveat is that the item should be in store for them to match the clear price so do it sooner rather than later. So far the performance has been good, no range or speed issues. I only needed 3 for my house. Friend that use Nest have had good things to say.
At this price for 4 this seems like a great deal. The wifi 2.4 is a bit annoying seeing how older and cheaper connected items only use that band however there's a fix someone put in this thread as long as you don't have your power go out often.
Having one gigabit port on the back also isn't great however if you're mainly using wifi these are simple enough to set up and cover a very large home. I have some relatives with a 4,000 sq ft home and have always had WiFi issues until we got these and were able to put them in the right configuration for their home.
You can disable WPA3 temporarily and they'll connect fine. If your power goes out, they won't be able to reconnect with WPA3 enabled so you'd have to repeat those steps. Yes, it's annoying and dumb but it's a solution that's been working for me
When the power goes out, and you turn off WPA3, do you have to manually reconnect each and every device, or do they all reconnect up automatically? (If I had two or three devices, it would be no big deal, but I have at least one in every room of our home.)

They reconnect automatically
Sweet! Thank you!
