I turned on my TV today to see an add on the Home screen of Roku stating I was selected to get 40% off a Roku streaming device.
This says it was a TARGETED ad so YMMV
Roku Express 4K+ is $23.99 instead of $39.99
Roku Streaming Stick 4K is $29.99 instead of $49.99
Roku Ultra is $59.99 instead of $99.99
Free Shipping
Apparently the Ultra is on backorder. When I ordered it, I received an email stating it was on backorder and it estimated shipping at 4/16.

I have three of the 2018 Roku Ultras and while they aren't "slow", they do take a few seconds to load apps. I do have Micro SD cards installed so it's not that it has to re-load the app. I'm just wondering if anyone has any firsthand experience with the two models, and if anyone knows if these current Ultras are still using the 2020 hardware. Google seems to suggest that is the case. Wondering if it would be worth upgrading at all aside from the rechargeable remote.

Doesn't look like I qualify for this deal or I might have considered it. My several year old premier seems like it might be dying. I'm starting to get some sparkling and audio break up issues with it that always clear themselves up by a restart of the Roku. I haven't done much else to troubleshoot it yet but it's not giving an overheating message and I don't think it's the cable because I wouldn't expect a reboot to help if the issue is the cable.
Yeah, I have a similar situation, I have an older soundbar that isn't CEC compatible. I originally got the stick due to recommendations here, only to find out that I couldn't control my volume with it. I really didn't want to go to using multiple remotes again, so returned the stick and got the express instead.
Annoyingly, the Roku remote wouldn't pair with my sound bar, when my cheesy Comcast Roku equivalent was able to pair up just fine. Sadly, nice universal remotes like the Harmony are a thing of the past for the most part, but I got a cheapo universal one for like $10 which works fine for what it is. I'm not too bothered by pointing the remote at the TV.
My current version don't support Dolby Vision.
If you think they won't bring this to their TVs also your're naive. This is just the start.

The random flickering was annoying (and that message would pop up for a couple seconds before going back to the show). So, I went in Settings > Display type on the Roku and downgraded from Dolby Vision to 4k with HDR (which is what I used on my old Ultra). No more flickering, but I'm not taking advantage of Dolby. I'm using the HDMI cable that was provided in the box. Maybe I should get a better one that's thicker and gold plated? I may try that.
Any ideas when they will do a refresh? I have an Ultra from when they first released them and have been waiting for a substantial update to their hardware. I haven't been able to find anything that says anything about updating the hardware.
