Costcos Kirkland motor oil is made by Warren. They also make the oil for amazon and walmarts supertech oil.
It meets the current API standards for motor oil.
Yes it works as well as most other synthetics out there unless you have some specific need/heavily modified vehicle.
Yes you can use 5w-30 in vehicles that call for 5w20 or 0w20. The 20 weight oils are for CAFE needs, not engine longevity. But its best to not use a 20 weight oil in a car that came with 30 weight when new.

Nah. Meets all major specifications for the newest engines. But have fun paying extra for the big brands so they can continue to bombard you with advertisements that make you buy their products and make you (wrongly) feel superior for having done so.

EDIT: I lied. Costco "shipping & handling included" usually meant $4 shipping fee add unless super heavy. Looks like this oil pack was only $1 difference between store and online shipped.

Usually $4+ cheaper in-store.
I'm guessing it'll be at least that since oil is heavy
Atleast in CA I remember that some tax was not included when you ordered online, which effectively made this same price as buying in-store after taxes.
The last time this exact same deal was available, the in-store price before taxes was $1 lower than online ($31 vs $32).

Going to the store to save $2 or less is ridiculously unnecessary especially when not even used sooner than later.

"Free shipping" not equal to "Shipping & Handling Included".
Online price may be higher than store price.

Really? I feel like last time it was also 31.99 in the store. You're saying it will be 27.99?

I personally do it online for that reason.
