Also remember that if you're a Prime member and have "no-rush" shipping digital credits from past orders, these apply here. I don't make a lot of digital purchases from Amazon, so a lot of my credits end up expiring. So, for me, the credits are almost pure additional discount.
Also - why wait until 5 days before the filing deadline to purchase? If you know you're gonna buy it, buy it when it is cheap regardless of when you plan to file. I've purchased as early as November even though I can't possibly file until Feb or March because it was cheap then.

I'll chime in on the "why wait" question. I had a big payment last year. I was thinking to hire a professional to do this year's taxes and audit last years. However, too many projects and some indecisiveness led me to doing it on my own again this year.
Amazon may not have had the best deal of the season, but glad they're offering something decent this close to the deadline.

I have a download link for the software and TWO uses left of my H&R Block Deluxe + State code.
I have already used the software to file taxes for three persons - there are TWO uses left.
I am looking for a $5 AGC for each use of the code.
Note: Only Federal Filing is FREE with this software - State filing is NOT free (unless you live in New York state). If you want to file your taxes for free, with a state, by using this software, you would have to print and mail in your return.
The software can be used to file two different state returns, BUT you have to install the H&R Block program on a different computer (or Virtual machine).
Again, send me a PM - only two days left to file your Federal Tax Return.
** Make sure you research what Deluxe will and will not work with. Deluxe worked for me - for a relatively simple return (ex. Job Income, Bank Interest, Bank Bonus, Stock sales, Dividends, Social Security Income, scholarship income, etc... If you own a business w/write-offs, have rental property, etc...I don't believe Deluxe is for you. Again, research!
This software ONLY gives you FIVE (5) free FEDERAL eFile uses with your product key.
You still have to pay to eFile your state return.
Most just print it out and mail it in the ole fashion way. You'll still get a check in the end (or enclose a check)!.
