I'm wondering if this is a fairly new brand? I only found a few on Amazon and then a couple other Sporting Goods sites but for what it's worth, the reviews seemed pretty good. Does anyone have any experience with these?
If they can be heat treated like Buck heat treats 420HC, they could be fine. But that's a lot of if.
There literally isn't enough carbon for any heat treat to turn it into anything close to decent. You normally see it in novelty keychain knives since the very low carbon means it has good rust resistance.
420hc is a low budget steel these days yet still has 50% more carbon than 3cr.
It's not just that 3cr is a low grade steel. The point to keep in mind is, what kind of knife company would choose to make knives out of 3cr. Not one that cares.

quite tempting.
The knives themselves were durable, super sharp and just felt amazing to hold. I picked up a few and really enjoy them.
I guess that's why they are clearing them all out on Woot right.

Yeah, woot wouldn't bs us about knives or something like subpar printed t-shirts that don't last more than a few washes.
They also arrive in random sizes despite what size is on the tag
You buy this knife to scrap the remaining ink off the shirt.
