A few weeks into ownership, the main board died.
LG support was next to useless as there are no repair techs in my area, so in the end, LG ended up refunding me the cost of the TV.
I did some research online, watched a couple YouTube videos, and ended up swapping a new main board in by myself. Took about 20 minutes and a screwdriver, but was an easy process.
Still works perfectly now. So in the end, I paid about $100 for a 65C2.
If I had the chance to do it again, knowing how easy these TV's are to do, I'd 100% do it again.

I picked up two TVs (55" and 65") on Friday after posting this deal and I'm very happy with both. When I got to the store to pick them up, I noticed a 55" open box priced at $640, so I asked a store associate about it. She sold it two days prior to an older gentleman who exchanged it for the 48" the following day because it was a bit too large. Since it was $160 less than the refurb, I took a chance and ended up getting the open box instead. When I got home and began unboxing the tv, I was surprised to find it was never removed from the box, the plastic film was still covering the screen, the remote and screws were in the unopened bag, and the stand and rear cover plates were still wrapped. Once I set it up, I checked the TV Information setting, which confirmed the tv was never turned on - 0 hours of use. The 65" only had 6 hours of use and was in perfect condition - no scratches or dings that I could, and I meticulously looked it over. Perhaps I lucked out but I'm extremely happy with my purchase.
Sounds like I just need to get my name on one and see what's there when I go to pick up.
I bought a 65" LG OLED refurb from MicroCenter 3 years ago. My experience was great - very small and nearly unnoticeable scratch on back near mounting holes, only had 13 hours used of screen time, beautiful picture and no issues with the unit. Still going strong 👍

Is these 3d tv too?
Hey, how can you tell how many hours are on your LG?
For what it's worth I have the Sony A80K and an Lg C1. I have an appointment today to get the C1 repaired, after 2 years usage and 4800 hours. I'd keep the Sony
Update: technician is ordering a new panel. $1000 part!

In the past when I've seen open box Tv inventory at Microcenter, I've spoken to a manager who lowered the price further for me, I simply ask "is that the best you can do?". YMMV
