Looking around the internet (Amazon, toms hardware, etc.) it looks like everywhere else lists it as 1400 TBW.

I just tested a MSi spatium 470 with a cheapo enclosure (which I would not recommend) for $40. Got over 3000MB/s read write speed. The new ASM2464 are bringing enclosure priced down

You ever heard of hyperdrive or zike drive, saw some benchmarks that beat out the acasis?
Is it safe to say only go with ssd enclosures with a fan and not just a thermal pad?

If you don't need it, makes sense not to but it

But comparing the Toms Hardware benchmarks, the MSI is faster than the WD version with random reads.
So I canceled my Newegg Order, and bought this instead. I spent about 30 min on PC Partspicker, this is the best deal on a 2TB SSD M.2 form factor

Yes, redundancy is important, but you're being myopic by neglecting the fact that mechanical storage is far more robust than NAND.
If you have to boil it down to one of each drive and try to recover data from each, the SSD is always going to be worse off.
There's a reason data centers still use tape for archival purposes.
