You probably know if you're buying this tool, but I thought it worth mentioning: This is useless without bushings specific to each conductor size.

Do they make drill attachments that do this? Any advantage to owning it?

Serious jokes aside, anyone know what the actual motor/internals situation is with these? I mean an actual drill motor seems like overkill but at $249 MSRP it had darn well better have a high end drill motor w/a huge reduction gear

Have no idea what one has to do professionally to own such a tool.

Commercial electrician. I've used this tool and it helps speed things up when landing parallel feeds. It makes everything cookie-cutter and professional. With that being said, I'd only buy this if it's what I did weekly., maybe monthly

I was thinking "Why would a premium brand like DeWalt sell a specialty tool like this for 80 bucks?"

Well that certainly explains it.

This seems very specialized for those who need a cable stripper for their job. Most other users can just buy the drill attachments for half the cost.
