Probably asked this already, but making sure. So just cancel for now and then open up another chat during business hours to clear the monthly charge? And it seems like from your guide, you can clear the $35 activation charge easily on your own on their website.

Yeah, cancel right away. Make sure the line is actually disconnected by not being able to make a call. Later on ATT will send you a bill when you chat again for voiding charges.

Damn rep is only offering a $30 credit haha. Seems like they knew to remove the $35 charge as it was mentioned as not applying since I'm within 3 days.

BTW if you are looking for the US unlocked S23+ firmware you can download it from this site: https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-S91...U1UES2CXCN It says you need to pay for premium or something but I hit the "Download SamFw 2 server" button and it downloaded at 50MB/s (400mbps) for me...

I also flashed it onto the S23+ I got from this thread (thanks OP!) and it worked just fine.

If you have the line cancelled you are good. You will have to talk to them anyway when the bill comes.

Yeah, use the Odin mentioned in the step 2. I don't know why Frija didn't work for S23 plus but you can try the other link above to see if you can download it fast.

I tried the deal. you must remain with AT&T for a minimum of two months to unlock your phone. Since they didn't unlock my phone, I had to trade it in to Samsung to obtain an unlocked device.

No problems at all.
I think the issue others faced is due to syncing issue at ATT side. In step 4, when swapping the SIM card, the app update quicker than the website. The website is very slow and I had to use different browsers to see the update device registered on the network, I didn't want to risk it so I made sure both the website and the app were updated and in sync before moving on to the next step. So take your time. Once I moved to step 5 I was approved and received the unlock code in less than a minute.

Alright, think I flashed it correctly. No AT&T splash screen on bootup. Now to see if I'm eligible for One UI 6.1...

The S23 ultra showed up as available for shipping so I got all the way to the last screen, and then it said it was not available. Crazy.
