The trick is for everyone to stop eating out and refusing to pay these ridiculous prices so it starts coming down.
That won't happen. The restaurants are just going to start closing.
Prices are what they are today so I look at it, if I'm going to place A for a meal anyway, I'll save where I can. That said I don't go to any sub shop because it's just not a good value. To me, I'd rather go to Moe's for a burrito. At least I feel full afterwards and the quality to me is far superior.

Edit: or not. Just checked, JM prices are $11.65 near me. Zero doubt a significant increase hit April 1. Even with coupon and 15% off its near $11 factoring tax and $5.20 Kalifornia gas prices to go get it. I can afford it, but not slick, so pass. I miss the days of just a few years ago of $9 JM subs and a free sub and chips on your B-day.
