For the life of me, I dont know why someone would pay for content they will never own. What happens when amazon pulls a Ubisoft and screws you over like sony did for all those people that purchased movies via PS5.
They will sit on Fandango and movieanywhere - u will only lose the ones that are NOT MA on Amazon - When other services went out they allowed the movies to move too another service in the past.. but anything could happen - too bad about PS5 issue..

Not sure this would hold true. Many of us claimed movies from Amazon that were priced at $0.00 a few weeks ago that were MA compatible. When Amazon clawed those purchases back the movies disappeared from both Amazon and MA.

That sounds like a pricing error that was corrected relatively quickly. I think that's a little different from something you purchase and then a service shuts down. Of course you are right there's always a risk. you end up with nothing but at $5 a pop it's not a huge risk.

MA doesn't host the film. If it gets removed from Amazon, like we all found out with the 2001 debacle, it gets removed from MA
