I have had 3 of these heaters. They are great. Put out good heat 360 deg around the unit. 1500W and a low watt setting (750W?). I abuse the hell out of them. I did have to replace one with a damaged cord where it connects to he base but they significantly updated the power connection on the new one that replaced it. Who knows what vintage these are but $8 is a great deal.

I received one today and tested it and hated it right away. It is probably 10 times as loud as my Vornado MVH heater with the same Wattage, and even worse, it runs the fan at the same (high) speed even in the low heat setting. What kind of a moron engineer develops such a crap design, and what company then goes ahead and just releases it that way!!
