Maybe your area. I've had both in Southern CA. Spectrum has given me the same coverage as my T mobile. Mint is also good and cheap.

Looks like you can pay for a code on eBay but reddit people are saying that it only unlocks the physical SIM not the eSIM. That should be fine for most people

Can someone tell me what the $40 plan is? It says unlimited* but i dont see what the * means. Is it full speed till 35gb or 40 gb?

Haven't tried it. I've used Mint and US Mobile in the last couple years. Both were fine. Had nothing but problems with Boost.

I want this without a phone number transfer (additional line only until I cancel the plan)... Can I select yes, I will transfer during activation to keep existing phone number and then, during activation not give a number to transfer, or will this only work if I ditch my old number (I can't, it's company paid line Smilie

)... Or if I select no, give me a new number, will it leave my old line alone or attempt to cancel it?

Also, hoping I can just cancel T Mobile service after 30 or 60 days and then use the phone without service or unlock and use on ATT?

Sorry for my ignorance, but how does this work? Do you get the phone for $200 and one month of the $40 plan (presumably using a new email and new phone number), don't allow auto pay for the $40 plan, then pop the sim from the $150 plan in and there are no further charges from Boost?

Is it a sure thing? I don't want to gamble. Thanks!

So many confusing info on this phone 😬
Previous discussion had all spectrum of very confident people claiming that:

- not unlocable at all, just a paperweight,
- easily unlocable by the guy you can meet in WhatsApp,
- not unlocable after Aug 2023, previous versions are fine,
- unlocable, but only for regular SIM, not eSIM.

And many more. So plz plz plz, if anyone bought it in store recently or already ordered since Boost have this deal online. Share your experience 🙏
