For those saying $30 is what it should have been. I 100% disagree. This is a remake, not a remaster. A remake is actually rehauling the games graphics from scratch, while a remaster is upscaling an older game to newer standards. I loved this game almost as much as the original. It's short, but damn is it ridiculously fun the entire time.
Really enjoyed this game, highly recommended - especially with the updated graphics and music in the Switch version. Don't miss this one if you or the gamers in your life love playing in the Super Mario universe.
This is Worth every penny if you haven't play the original.
The immersive music, the excellent sense of humor, and the great battle dynamics, along with many details that I don't want to spoil.
I still have the original SNES version, complete with box, instruction manual, cartridge protector, and all inserts. When I bought it, it was $70 back in the late 90s, which would be what? $200 in today's money? This is a total bargain in comparison.
$70 in 1996 would be over $140 today. If a new game released for $140 today, gamers would have a meltdown.
Gamers today are very spoiled for choice. If they don't feel like shelling out for this game, they can pick from hundreds of good cheap games instead of complaining about the price tag for this one particular game. But so it goes.

100% agree with this. Pretty short and no replayability. Meaning, once you finish the final boss and the secret boss at monster town, that's it. It's a "remaster" without any extra flare or more challenging difficulty.

I bought this game at launch. I didn't play the original. The game is simplistic in every aspect. I think it is great for kids. But not for adults. 30 bucks seems to be a fair price point. This is just my opinion though.

Please note it's only one player though it does have multiple save files like most RPG games so more people can play through it at their own pace.
