I haven't done any real comparison with any of the other models when it comes to battery life . That being said I can get most of what I need done with a single 4ah battery but I would def have more than one available. This and the 525CFM model are the only two that are effective with wet magnolia leaves. Any of the other 18 or 40v volt models are pretty much a waste of time.

Also to note, in my experience these chargers do work well but of the 3 I've had none will charge a completely dead battery, it just sits there like no battery is plugged in. I have to rely on the entry level charger for that should I not pay attention and run it completely down. There seems to have to be some charge on the battery for it to work.

Doesn't seem that great of a deal, I bought mine on eBay brand new for 200 without the free battery. I would say to wait and either get a better on direct outlet or eBay.
