There is also a scale length difference between the Mustange and the Tele or strat. The mustang is 24" scale and the tele/strat is 25.5" scale. If you're an adult, there should not be too much of a change. For smaller children, the 25.5 can be a little more of a stretch.
As stated earlier, the Satin on these necks are great!

LPB Player Series Tele and Strat both frequently go on sale from Adorama for this price. It happens every few months and it's a good deal.
