LOL. Cali usually gets shitted on for their laws but New York makes Cali look like Texas.
Lmao won't ship to NY.
S&W knives are garbage - it's absurd how frequently they get posted here.

S&W knives are terrible quality. Sub $20, I highly recommend the folding knives that take standard utility blades. The Milwaukee are really great but the Home Depot Husky brand is cheaper than this S&W.

I own several of the SW folding knives including the pink for the wife. They are excellent knives for everyday function, and self-defense.

So from what I understand, these blades are made by Taylor Cutlery.

They are 440c. Not the best steel but certainly not the worst.

I also sure for price, it is a decent deal.

But the Kershaw Cinder can be had for 20 bucks for 2 on Amazon…

Ya pays yer money and ya takes yer chances.

Is it 440c? Where'd you find that? That seems unusual for an inexpensive Taylor knife from China. I would expect 440a, maybe some xCRxxMOV (and likely not 8CR).

Hehe, actually I just called up Taylor and asked them. It took them a minute to verify but that is what they told me.

They said if it isn't listed in the description as another kind of steel, it is 440c. Plus their more traditional style knives are 440c.

Best I could do!

This blade is literally an inch long and you're recommending it for self defense? You're gonna get some killed out here. And it's not like you're crime fighting in the streets either there batman, so self defense is only gonna go as far as your skills go and for the average person male and female that ain't squat. Please stop.
Im refering to the full sized knives quality, not takin about this little knife idiot.
