I usually buy several of these and then keep the one in the best condition and best battery life. Has worked out well. Usually about 1 in 3 are in great condition.

Yes, my sister got screwed over by an Amazon third-party refurb iPhone. The battery stopped charging after a couple months and the Apple Store wouldn't work on it because it didn't have a valid serial or something like that. Amazon support was useless. I think she got some credit back eventually, but not a full refund, and she bought one somewhere else. I'd stay away.

A common issue with 13s are the dust getting into 3x lens. Switch to 3x lens and see if there are any black spots seem. I returned 3 amazon renewed 13s simply because this defects. It is a common issue for 13s and the only fix is to replace the whole camera module.

This is why you buy refurbs that are SHIPPED and SOLD by Amazon, not a 3rd party that's selling through Amazon.
What's curious is why Amazon doesn't directly sell BRAND NEW iPhones "shipped and sold by Amazon", yet they are selling these used ones directly. How did they get them?

Beware, Amazon will flag your account if you do stuff like that. They may even suspend it
Yes it's true. A number of retailers track your returns and their computer system will flag you if you return a certain amount. I once got a warning from Amazon CS because I returned a number of unused auto parts for a canceled repair project. They have been known to eventually close customer accounts. I also got a warning from Costco years ago for returning 3 flat screens within a month because I didn't like them.

Which vendor do you talk to? Amazon is the vendor. How do you know where Amazon refurbished its phones?
Amazon is good. I was talking about the third party vendor.

Does this one have USBC? I am getting older and am thinking it's time to go to something easy like an Iphone these days but don't want to invest into lightning cable items. Everything I have now is usbc.
Hold off for iphone 15 deals since it's the first iphone to ditch the lightning port in favor of USB-C thanks to the demands of the EU.

I got a **renewed premium iphone 13 pro from amazon last week at around 531$. Physical appearance, it looked like a new phone, it came in a white box that says "amazon refurbished". I cant attest to other renewed premium phones from amazon, but mine came with regular(non-usb-C) usb to lightning cord and a USB charging block, both NON-APPLE, and I couldnt find a brand name on these accessories.

The phone itself has worked good so far. the only gripe I have is .... while it did specifically say that a renewed premium would have at least 90%+ battery life, I guess i didnt figure it would actually arrive literallt at that much, so after a day of use, mine went down to 89% hehe.

But thats it, it feels great and the iphone 13 pro is basically the iphone 15 without usb-c, so im happy.

Wiping a phone with an alcohol is not a refurbishment.

Sounds like a conspiracy theory.
I've received emails from Amazon saying that I can't return my next few packages, because I've returned too many things. Of course this was after 5 consecutive returns

Bought this just now for wife. So exhausting the price premium on iPhones.

Paid $220 for my s20fe ages ago. That felt like winning.

What's up with the Amazon site? If you choose the 256gb, it shows Typical price: $621.97 vs $800 for the 128GB.

Shouldn't the 256GB normally price higher?

Will I regret getting the 128 vs the 256? People say 128 is enough but then you can only record video at 1080p/30fps with the 128. That seems significant.

13 series allows to use 2 eSIM at the same time or 1 eSIM and 1 physical Sim at the same time, which helps when you travel abroad and gives maximum flexibility.
12 and 14 cannot do that.

13pro has better screen and cameras than 14 regular, and the same processor.

True about the SIM part. This is why I moved to Pixel 8 Pro last year. I had every iPhone since iPhone 1.

Yep I moved over also. I love the 8 Pro. Use to have an iPhone for ages. And with RCS around the corner no need for an iPhone and iMessage anymore. I'm able to send all my family and friends, high quality pictures and video going forward through regular texting. I don't have to send them on WhatsApp or messenger anymore. iPhone is done for me forever.

You need 256gb min if you plan on using the phone for everything, especially vlogging.
