I usually buy several of these and then keep the one in the best condition and best battery life. Has worked out well. Usually about 1 in 3 are in great condition.

Yes, my sister got screwed over by an Amazon third-party refurb iPhone. The battery stopped charging after a couple months and the Apple Store wouldn't work on it because it didn't have a valid serial or something like that. Amazon support was useless. I think she got some credit back eventually, but not a full refund, and she bought one somewhere else. I'd stay away.

A common issue with 13s are the dust getting into 3x lens. Switch to 3x lens and see if there are any black spots seem. I returned 3 amazon renewed 13s simply because this defects. It is a common issue for 13s and the only fix is to replace the whole camera module.

not only replacement parts, but most non-apple refurbishers use non-oem batteries. My experience has been that even if they come with good rated capacity the non-apple batteries don't hold a charge as well and more importantly, they degrade substantially more quickly than the genuine apple ones do

in only like one year my backmarket "refurbished" iPhones battery degraded so much that the phone would routinely power down if I tried to do anything requiring any more voltage than sending a text

Another update: After transferring everything over, logging in to all the apps, etc. there's a flaw. When I'm sending voice notes, half of them sound like the phone is buried under a pillow across the room and no one can make out any of what I'm saying. I'll be return and probably won't replace with another amazon refurb replacement.

I purchased the iPhone 13 Pro Max Renewed Premium. Unlocked Graphite 256GB for $558 (will arrive tomorrow AM). You might not be able to see it anymore if there is no more in stock.

Edit. I checked the linked site and now it says my last purchase was "Product Grade: Renewed"… and not "Renewed Premium" as it did before. Anyone else notice this change?
