Its definitely worth checking. The Targets near me never have any of these deals, so I almost didn't stop. I figured it would be sold out by now. The second store I went to had one more of both the 55" and 65". It was posted at full price but rang up at 750 and 900. Was able to grab both.
Nice ! I've been relatively happy with my current Vizio set, but it is 7 years old now and this is a significant upgrade as well!
I'll check Target out and post back later today, thanks!
I picked up the last 55" at a local store for $750. I first went to the store nearest to me because it showed 2 in stock, but when I got there the associates told me they just sold 1 and the remaining one is the display unit. But they checked inventory at another store about 25 min away and it showed 2 available. They insisted that I call to verify and to have them hold it, so I did and the associate over the phone said they have it but they can't hold it. So I drove over there and fortunately they still had it in the back. But when they rang it up the price was showing $1099. I asked if they could check for updated pricing, but they had no idea what I was talking about. They then called a manager and she said the prices are different for every store. I politely explained that this clearance price should be nationwide and asked if there was a way to import updated pricing. She then did something on her scanner and said "okay, it's $749 now, it just wasn't activated yet. I'll show them how to do it for future reference".
But back at the first store I visited, before I left one of the associates mentioned to me that they have a 55" Sony Bravia x90k on clearance for $400. She said she would hold it for me for 2 hours in case I couldn't get the C3 from the other store. I got the C3, but the Sony seems like too good of a deal to pass up. Any thoughts?
Spot on advice, it's a risk that I wouldn't take. Bought my C1 in 11/2021 and it's got around 3,500hrs of use with fairly routine use, so I'd imagine I'd be close to 5,000 hours in 5 years.
Thanks OP! Checked yesterday and they had one 65 inch, but didn't have the reduced price yet. Figured it couldn't hurt to stop by today and ask again. Sure enough $999! First ever OLED for me and it's what I've been waiting for for years. Thanks again!
Same here, not worth it. Don't get me wrong, it is a beautiful TV. The guy won't give additional discounts and I asked to check how many hours has been on and he said it has been on since May of last year.

Nah. That's basically an OLED with 5 years of use
