No offense to those that do, and the reasons are none of my business, but buying an extended warranty on any of these is odd. You're taking a huge chunk out of your slick deal right off the top, and something probably less than 5% of people buying them ever use or need.
My 65" LG C1 is getting the panel replaced tomorrow, after 2.5 years of moderate usage (4800 hours total). It is being repaired out-of-warranty as a courtesy from LG, but that's no guarantee they will do it for everyone.

i got my 2nd gen 65EF9500 panel replaced by LG free of charge --- way out of warranty
they have def changed their policy in these last few years.
Went to one store this morning showing a few and none was located. I then drove an hour away to another store. They checked via the phone and nothing found. I then decided to call again that same store and spoke to someone in electronics who claimed they had 3 available. I got there and none were located. Employees claimed they must of given me the wrong model. Got manager involved, he looked personally and voila! found it in the back and offered $100 off for the inconvenience. Not bad after all...Not impressed with it I downgraded from a 70 inch led to oled.
That's awesome, congrats on getting one! What state?
Managed to snag a 55 and 65 from the targets here in Texas. The managers at these stores are so stingy, I tried buying the display 65 at one store and they wouldn't sell it even though it's on clearance. Had to drive a little over a half hour to grab one but I got it so I'm happy.
I picked up the last one in SW Gilbert location earlier today. It was proceed at 1399 but I politely asked if they could get a manager to update their prices. Manager came with their scanner and scanned it, Said it was updated to the 999 price and that's how it rang up.
Gilbert Gateway manager was... not pleasant. I asked about updating price and she said I should be "happy she's going down to $1399" and "can't come down to $999". As if it was some sort of negotiation. The whole experience was super odd/suspect.
Snagged the last brand new one from the Arcadia Crossing store in Phoenix yesterday. Showed "unknown" in the app 2 in stock on the website so I gave it a shot. They had a bunch of boxes out, but none for the C3 so I thought I was out of luck. Finally asked a rep in electronics if they had one in the back and he said, a bit annoyed, "yes we have one, but it's $1300 not the $900 do you still want it?" I eventually decided I'd go for it still and it ended up ringing up for $999. Not sure if he was just trying to hold onto it and quoted the old price or if the clearance price finally got pushed that day (I went right at open) but it seems like if the site says more than 1 they probably have them in the back.
There's still a display model available at my store but the employee wouldnt budge on the 10% discount. Is it possible it will get an additional mark down next week?
